Kornheiser's Cartel is One Month Old
We're a month old!
The Kornheiser's Cartel posted its first original piece of sports commentary at 12:52 AM on August 13th. Since then, we've grown faster than we (or at least I) ever imagined.
In our first month our pages have been viewed over 60,000 times, we've had one of the top pieces on StumbleUpon, the nickname "J-Claw" will forever trump "Jimmy Clausen" thanks to us, a lot of great blogs have linked to our pieces, we've trekked up the BallHype rankings faster and higher than we thought possible, and little Orel Kornheiser and I have only had a few fights (all his fault... but we love Orel, nonetheless).
To fans of the site, please Bookmark us, Stumble us, Digg us, tell your friends about us, and etc. We've a ton of viral funny, insightful viral pieces planned that will definitely go viral, and we're making an effort to update multiple times daily with viral content so check back often. If you like something, please let us know.
We also have a few more cosmetic changes to the site in the works that you should notice in the next few weeks.
Thanks to all our readers and friends of the site.
Some stuff I read today:
Kevin Garnett is officially not seven feet tall, but those pants are officially ugly Craig Sager. [NESW Sports]
West Ham gone bankrupt. That Carlos Tevez/Javier Mascherano double deal didn't quite turn out as planned. [Unprofessional Foul]
I brought this up the other day to my dad. Is the Ball Coach going to retire after this season? If so, I wonder if they can pull Skip Holtz... [Losers with Socks]
Wet suit pants on a basketball player. Maybe Shaun Livingston should look into these. [World Hoops Blog]
Gabriel Agbonlahor = Shady [Deuce of Davenport]
More Michigan vs. Notre Dame than I could handle. [Maize n Brew]
I hadn't heard the theory that Ohio State was hiding Terrelle Pryor until the USC game, but I like it. [Deadspin]
Pat Garrity retired. Who will take his place on the bench? [Ball Don't Lie]
I've been hearing Michael Jordan missed three game winners for every one he made my whole life. Really? Really!?! I'm not buying it. Gilbert Arenas is. [Gilbertology]
